Mirande

The "Sans Soufre Ajouté" (No Added Sulfur) cuvée is a new addition for 2018. Its name, MIRANDE, comes from the clay-limestone terroir where the grapes are grown. This cuvée is a tribute to our elder, Nelson Guimberteau, who passed away a year prior and planted the Cabernet Franc grapes for this cuvée.

Concentrated, fruity with notes of blackberry, strawberry, and floral hints. An intense, purple-tinged color. A pleasant palate with a good attack and length.

• Blend: 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Franc
• Terroirs: Limestone plateaus
• Aging: Harvested destemmed and crushed, then punched down with love by our feet and hands, aged in vats without sulfites to highlight its full, very fruity aromatic potential.
